Aligning STEM and the Humanities: Standards, Writing, and Workforce Preparation

Where do writing and communications fit in with STEM's relevance to workforce preparation? How is the focus on standards in both secondary and higher education having an impact on the next generation of workers?  What can we do to better prepare students for career and professional life?

Join us for a special session with Tom Rudin, Director of the Board on Higher Education and Workforce at the National Academy of Science, who will discuss their efforts to create stronger alignment between STEM and the humanities and why that integration is crucial.
