Grade Anywhere: Turnitin for iPad

Turnitin for iPad is a new way for instructors to grade student writing using all the favorite tools you're familiar with in Turnitin like QuickMark comments, custom comments, voice comments, rubrics, Originality Reports, and more.

In this session we demonstrate the Turnitin for iPad functionality while beta-user Dr. Shannon Farris discusses how Turnitin for iPad has changed how and where he evaluates student work.

Presenters

Dr. Shannon Farris, assistant professor of psychology, has been teaching psychology courses online and in the classroom for the past 13 years. Dr. Farris currently teaches psychology at Saint Leo University in Savannah, Georgia, and uses Turnitin for all the assignments he grades. He is also the founder of “eCOACH Online Learning” webcasts, a series that supports student academic success and faculty development, which includes implementing Turnitin. Dr. Farris was also a beta-user of Turnitin for iPad.

Ray Huang is the Senior Customer Programs Manager at Turnitin. His focus is on developing programs to ensure customer success. He regularly writes for the Turnitin blog and newsletters, organizes user events, leads social media outreach, and oversees training resources—including Turnitin for iPad training
