Though most students grasp that plagiarism is an ethical issue, they may not fully understand how plagiarism can take form.

The Plagiarism Spectrum was developed as a guide to help students identify inappropriate uses of source material. 

This 30-minute on-demand webcast provides an overview of the 10 types of plagiarism and sheds light on the frequency and problematic nature of each type by sharing findings from a survey of nearly 900 secondary and higher education instructors.

Presenters

Ray Huang is the Customer Programs Manager at Turnitin. He regularly contributes to the Turnitin blog and newsletters, organizes user events, and oversees training resources. He was the primary survey developer and analyst for the instructor survey included in the Plagiarism Spectrum report.


Jason Chu is the Senior Education Manager at Turnitin.  His focus is on working to build resources for educators, and his personal passion is to find better ways to enhance student achievement.  He will be moderating this webinar.
