Policy to Practice: Developing Effective Academic Integrity Policies
This webcast examines how institutions are using academic integrity policies to successfully guide student academic conduct in a time of significant cultural and institutional changes around how instruction is delivered and received.
Teresa (Teddi) Fishman is the Director of the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI). Previously, she taught at Clemson University. Teddi's interest in ethics and academic integrity dates back to her pre-academic career in law enforcement. In fact, she continues to investigate and write about the complex communication practices of police and other emergency responders and more broadly, governmental and institutional rhetoric, including that of universities. Her work also includes analysis of online communication and the evolving rules and mores of virtual communities.
Jason Chu is the Senior Education Manager at Turnitin. His focus is on working to build resources for educators, and his personal passion is to find better ways to enhance student achievement. He will be moderating this webinar.
