Students Feed Back: Student Perceptions of Instructor Feedback
What do students really think about the feedback that they receive? Do they find it helpful? Is it timely? What types of feedback do students most want to see?
Join us for a special student "feed back" session where we'll surface student insight into the approaches, strategies, and mediums that students find most effective in helping them improve their work. Turnitin's own Kenneth Balibalos and Sean Tupa will discuss findings based on a 2014 survey of over 3000 students conducted by Turnitin.
Presenters
Sean Tupa is the Product Marketing Manager for Turnitin. Previously, he had worked in various capacities for the College Board, including the roles of Director of Research for the Digital Solutions department and as a Director with the Innovation & Concept Development team. In these positions he conducted research projects, focus groups and surveys with both students and educators to help identify challenges and solutions in the world of education. Sean received his Bachelors degree in Philosophy and History from Hiram College.
Kenneth Balibalos is a Marketing Associate at Turnitin. Balibalos manages the Turnitin Educator Network to connect educators to each other and support them at their institution. He regularly chats with educators and works alongside them to develop instructional resources, and also posts on social media and supports other customer programs.
