What does writing look like in the mobile era? While the fact that we proceed through the steps of the writing process may not change, the associated tasks and procedures can evolve and transform when students have access to iPads, tablets, and other mobile devices.
In this webcast, we will examine the impact of mobile devices on the tasks associated with writing, and identify tools, apps, and skills to transform what's possible.

Presenters
Beth Holland combines over 17 years of experience in mobile learning, K-12 education, and differentiated instruction to help teachers create innovative learning environments. She blogs regularly for Edutopia and EdTech Researcher at Education Week, presents nationally and internationally, and is an authorized Google Education Trainer. She holds a Master's degree from Harvard University as well as a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University. In addition to being an EdTechTeacher instructor, she is a doctoral student at Johns Hopkins University.
Jason Chu is Education Director for Turnitin. His focus is on working to build resources for educators, and his personal passion is to find better ways to enhance student achievement. He will be moderating this webcast.
